Anticipation.    Have you ever been waiting for something that you think will never happen?   Have you anxiously watched the clock or marked the days off the calendar as that big event approached?  We sometimes do that as life changing moments are coming up.    Graduations, weddings, new births.  We count minutes and prepare furiously as we wait for the time to pass so we can get on with the big event.   How much more exctied should we be about the coming of our Messiah?   Scripture tells us that no one knows the time of Christ's return but in Revelation Jesus says "I am coming soon.  Hold fast what you have so that no one may seize your crown."  (Rev 3:11 ESV).  He is talking to the church at Philadelphia and is pleased with the the way they have done His will and waited patiently for His return.   I want to be counted with that church.   What about you?
