Proverbs 3:6 “In all ways acknowledge Him, And He shall
direct your paths.” (ESV)
What a great plan for our lives as we move through the first
month of a new year. Friends, if we
acknowledge God in all things, we are seeking His wisdom and guidance in all
that we do. If we acknowledge God in
all things, we earnestly look for ways to please Him and do things that will
glorify Him. This Scripture promises
that if we do that, God will show us the way.
We do not have to go through another year wondering if what we do is the
right thing. We don’t have to aimlessly
move through our months hoping that we are making the right choices and
randomly picking which way to turn. We
simply need to be in relationship with our Lord and ask Him what we need to
do. He will take our hearts and minds
and fill us with His wisdom so that we can forge ahead with full confidence
that we are on the right path. Why would
we choose any other way?
