Happy New Year!
I read a great article recently regarding the new year. It mentioned that God is not looking for resolutions, but a reaffirmation of our love for Him. The premise is that if we focus on our love for Him and His Word, we will begin to let His Holy Spirit do His work in us and through us. As we approach this new year, let's not only reaffirm our love for our Lord, but also give His Holy Spirit complete reign in our lives.
Let's not focus on our failures of last year, but look forward to a new beginning with our Lord Jesus. He longs to have a meaningful relationship with us not just today, but forever. Let's look forward to Him doing a mighty work in our lives, our communities, our local and worldwide congregations.
Let's unite in saying: "Hallelujah, all praise and honor and power goes to God alone!"
