Job 5:11 “He sets on high those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.” (ESV)

We can trust our Father in heaven to take care of us. We can know that in the arms of our Savior we are safe and loved. This world throws much at us that is destructive and meant to tear us down, but when we look to God for answers we can immediately take on the cloak of His protection. When we are faced with disappointments or even crises, we should turn our tear-streaked faces to God to again know that security of His unfailing love for us. When we are torn apart with grief because we have lost a loved one, we can know that God grieves for us as well, but promises that we can find comfort in His embrace. There is nothing in this world that can hurt us so badly that God cannot lift us to safety, as the Scripture says. We must trust God. We must trust that He is who He says He is and that He will do what He says He will do. Thank you, God that you promise us that security.
