Have you done something good for someone in need this summer?   Have you supported a charity or worked on a mission project?   Have you made a financial contribution to a good cause?   I Thessalonians 3:13 reminds us to continue doing charity.  "As for you brothers, do not grow weary in doing good."   There is so much need in our world today.   One does not have to look very far to see folks that are in a bad way.    Yes, there is much to do in third world countries, but there is also much to do in our very own communities.   If you think there are not homeless and hungry people within ten miles of where you live then you need to take a closer look.   The need is great and often we think that our little bit of support will not make any difference in the big picture.    You know what, you may be right.    But a tiny bit of love shared with one other person will be a big difference in that one person.   Friends, let's don't ever get tired of doing good!
