Genesis 8:20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took
some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt
offerings on the altar. (ESV)
Noah's first significant act, once he came
out of the ark, was to worship the Lord. If you think back to your
salvation were you not the same? I remember being so very thankful for
the grace of God in my life that I could not help but worship Him. I
wonder if this is what the phrase "your first love" could refer to.
We read of a church that was admonished for "leaving their first
love."
Let do some self-examination and see if
this is true in our own lives.
Oh to return to the time that worship was
first and foremost on my heart.
