Acts 5:38-39 reads "If this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of god, you cannot overthrow it."  (NKJV)   I have been pondering this verse the last few days as we have been having committee meetings regarding adult spiritual enrichment for our church.   We have a wonderful plan in place for the next several months and have started going about getting volunteers to fill the many spots open on the calendar.    So far we are excited and volunteer facilitators have been easy to get.   This must be God's plan! We have tried very diligently to keep God in the center of all our planning but sometimes it is too easy to run ahead without consulting the man in charge.  Scripture says if we don't follow the will of God, all the best laid plans will never work out.   I need to keep that focus when I open my personal calendar as well as our church calendar.   Thank you God for reminding us that you go first.
