Deuteronomy 13:4 "You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him, and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and cleave to him."
Moses wrote this passage to the Israelites to remind them they should serve only the one true God. They were directed to walk after Him, fear Him, be obedient to Him, hold fast to Him, and serve Him. These Old Testament words still ring true for us today. Christians need to hear and heed Moses' words above the noise of our culture that clangs in our ears. If we have a heart for service and choose to use that service to improve the lot of others who are downtrodden in our world, we will be in line with the truth delivered by Moses. Dear Father show me where and how you want me to serve.
