I Kings 2:12 Then Solomon sat on the throne of his father
David; and his kingdom was firmly established. (ESV)
When I read this verse this morning, I
thought how much this could apply to our hearts. If the kingdom of God is
anywhere He reigns, then that qualifies our heart to be the kingdom of God.
If that is the case, then I think it is worth asking ourselves - is it
firmly established?
Give it some thought. Are you easily
shaken? Are your absolutes on shaky ground? Or are you firm in your
resolve?
I want the Lord to say of me and my heart
that His kingdom is firmly established.
