Isaiah 57:15 For thus says "the One who is high and
lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in
the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly
spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the
contrite."
Isn't this a wonderful promise? The One is high above all
others - is willing to come down to dwell with the lowly in spirit and contrite
in heart.
Are you struggling today? Is your spirit low? Does
your heart ache with remorse? Then God is with you. You are not
alone - to wallow in your mire. God is with you. You are not the
only one going through whatever it it that you are going through - God is with
you. Talk to Him; tell Him how you feel (He already knows). Once
you tell Him, wait for Him to minister to you. He will not fail to show
up and help you in your need. Praise God! Bow the knee now.
