Romans 7:21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right,
evil lies close at hand.
Isn't that the truth! It seems to me that at those times
when I have been in the Word, praying diligently, listening to the Lord and
ready to go out into this world and walk in obedience - it is like the author
of Romans says - Satan and his devices are not far off. He is crouching,
ready to pounce. We are told in Scripture that we need to be aware of
Satan's tactics. One of them is to jump us and cause us to stumble,
especially when we are close to walking in obedience. It is as sure as
the law.
