I Samuel 3:4. Then the Lord called Samuel, and he answered, "Here I am." (ESV)
Oh, that I would be so quick to answer the Lord's call. Too often I second guess the Lord's voice. Or I consider how busy I already am without adding more on my plate. It seems to me that in this day and age we are so busy and over-committed, that we have trouble squeezing in the things of the Lord. I urge you to take time to get quiet before the Lord and listen for His voice and then make yourself available for whatever He asks of you.
On the rare occasions when I have done that, I was surely blessed!
