I Kings 10:14 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in
one year was 666 talents of gold.
I have often wondered if the number 666 in this verse has any
symbolic meaning as to the trap that gold has for many of us. God does so
much with numbers in the Bible, it seems that this exact number ought to strike
a chord with us.
