Proverbs 21:9 It is better to live in a corner of the
housetop than in a house shared with a quarrelsome wife.
Ouch! This Proverb can be quite
convicting on those days that I know I am being quarrelsome. You know
what I mean. You are almost looking for a fight.
As a picture a corner of the housetop, I
picture a hot, stuffy place of discomfort. When put like that, I realize
my quarrelsome ways must be pretty uncomfortable to my husband. It is not
often that I am quarrelsome, but this verse shows me that once is too often.
I need to continue to pray for that gentle, quiet spirit the Word
describes.
Does anyone know what I mean?
