Proverbs 22:4  The reward for humility and fear of the LORD is riches and honor and life.

Isn't it funny how so many of us look for honor, riches, and the good life in all the wrong places?  I love it that the ways of the Lord are generally just the opposite of the world's.  While people boast in themselves and in their accomplishments, the Lord tells us that it is humility and reverence of Him that lead to life's satisfaction.

Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and He will lift you up in due time.
